WINTER SESSION 2011-12
STOCKSCH 290U – Urban Agriculture Online (3cr). Offered by Helena Farrell during the winter term through Continuing and Professional Education online. Satisfies a production requirement in the Sustainable Food and Farming major.
PLSOILIN 100 – Botany for Gardeners Online (4cr). Offered by John Gerber during the winter term through Continuing and Professional Education online. Satisfies Biological Sciences General Education requirement for UMass students.
SPRING SEMESTER 2012
PLSOILIN 265 – Sustainable Agriculture Online (3 cr). Offered by Katherine Campbell-Nelson through Continuing and Professional Education online. Satisfies a production requirement in the SFF major.
PLSOILIN 398E – Student Farming Enterprise class (5 cr). Earn credit while learning to manage an organic farm. Practical experience and lots of hard work (and fun).
STOCKSCH 397P – Food Justice and Policy (3cr). Offered by Catherine Sands on Monday from 9:05-12:05pm and Wednesday 9:05am-10:10am. Satisfies the requirement for Community Food Systems or a Social Systems requirement.
STOCKSCH 297W – Herbal Approaches to Women’s Health (2cr). Offered by Brittany Nickerson on Tuesday from 4:00-6:00pm. Bundled with another one credit course may count toward a Biophysical Systems requirement. – FULL
STOCKSCH 297S – Shamanism and the Modern World (1cr). Offered by Leryn Gorlitsky on Tuesday from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Bundled with a two credit course may count toward a Biophysical Systems requirement.
